N-missile crew dozes with launch code

A three-member crew actually fell asleep while in possession of classified US launch codes for nuclear missiles.

But the launch codes were old and had been deactivated, and there was no actual security breach, according to a US Air Force investigation that found only a violation of procedures.

The incident, which occurred July 12 at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, is the latest error involving the US nuclear arsenal.
