'Israel will attack Iran under Bush'

An Israeli academic says Israel will attack Iran before the US President leaves office, because Israel needs his support against Iran.

"Israel is reliant on American cooperation - maybe political support or in some ways military - and they will get that from [President George W.] Bush, who is a very true and trusted friend. And they, perhaps in Israel, don't know what to expect from the next American president," the NPR website quoted historian Benny Morris as saying.
